wouldnt it be nice of parkzone made a p47 plus a bf109G..im sure they would make a killing as all thats out there is either smaller.,more money,.needs r/c gear.,.,parkzone could make a killing here...what with the corsair "which i cant wait to try" they would make almost every ones dream fleet!...all in agreement????????

Yeah it would be nice if they were to make the whole range of WWII fighters... even the Russian ones such as the Yak-3 and the early jets in ducted fan form such as the Gloster E28/39, Hawker Hunter and Me 262.

I would be great if Parkzone made an RTF version of an Edge 540 or Extra 300S etc... I know they make something called a Typhoon but I've seen a few pictures of them and it looks a bit rubbish.

In full Agreement.
I would love a bf109 without the hassle of building one or having to buy extra equipment with an artf.

Hi Anthony
I have got the Typhoon and while it is a 3D flyer of sorts I agree it might not be as good as other more expensive 3D machines but it is hardly rubbish. I got mine 2nd hand from ebay as the previous owner had pranged it a bit. A bit of epoxy and some toothpicks later she is as good as new and flies pretty well. Not going to break any speed records or win any competitions but like all the other Parkzone products it is built to a price and is a good introduction - has 4 channels, flies like it is on rails and is easy to repair with plenty of spares. Yes there are better radios and esc's and motors etc but it does the job. I got it as an experiment, hence the ebay, but I would not hesitate in recommending it to anybody who wants to have some more r/c flying fun when they are a little bored with the Super Cub and the Spit/FW190/P51. I love the fact it has wheels and can take off in about 6 feet. It will also roll extremely easily and fly inverted and all the other things you might want to play with and it is fast - perfect for small park 3D flying!!
Btw I would love to see a Bf109 as well!!! :-)

I would have posted the file for the plans on the 109 but it's 349kb and the max on the page is 293! sorry

Well.....I have looked at several differant plans and scalled them up and down (and still not been happy) I will be scratch building to as close to a stand off scale as I can to the parkzone spit which means a wing span of 1.8m (6' in old money) wing width is .3m (12") fuselage lenghth is 1.2 (4')
Im still figuring out aspects of build in my own mind (whats balsa/foam/clear area/cable locations/control surfaces linkages ect) Once I've sorted my own head out.....the build starts!

sounds like its gonna be one of the best mid scale lancs out there!!!...why not get a green air lanc then copy it but at a larger scale.,? all that depron they use slots together,.then its sanded to shape by knocking the corners off,,shaping ect,.it could be done but with a thicker gauge foam/depron,,,,...Do you know of a 40" span hawker tempest, before i start to cut up my e-fite seafury......!

I have thought about using some one elses but....well this is going to be a challenge as there are some mods i'd like to try. For a start I want to use a mix of balsa and styrene for the fuslarge, and wings (not commonly used on budget birds) and if I can keep the weight down, will fly slow if I want to....also should be better to control.
