hey guys,any thoughts on this-- i want to keep flying on my nidads because i have 15 of them when i fly.,if the weather holds out im up most of the evening on them,.but i want to go over to 2.4gig.,ive bought a spektrum DX6i..,because of the PZ rx with built in esc do i only need to fit my new rx,.plus a upgrade speed controler.,all i seem to see if all the lipo stuff,.will one of the esc work with my nicads,.or will i cook it sending my plane into the terra ferrma!!....i realy hate to have to spend out on new batterys/charger.,ect ect,.as im set up for good flight times with my supply of nicads...any thoughts.,help?,,,thanks..

Depends which model you have. The later models like the Spitfire, Stryker C, T28 all use standard 3 wire servos and in this instance all you need to do is to replace the stock ESC/RX with a seperate Spektrum RX (AR6100 is perfect) and a suitable ESC.

The older models like the P51, FW190 and Super Cub dont use standard servos so in addition to the ESC, you need to replace these items as well.
