Hi
Flew my super cub today and had a scary moment when my throttle lever broke off at full throttle!
I told myself to stay calm and i'll get her down, after ploughing the field up with my mustang only last week i didnt want to lose another plane.
I tried pressing the cut off switch but that cut all controls.
So i had to circle the field until the battery started to run low.
As the throttle started to fade i lined her up for landing, trying to keep the wings level i brought her in,with just a foot to spare i hit the cut off button and and she gently touched down and rolled to a halt. Phew!!!!

Haha well done, I think a lot of people would have crashed in that situation with the cub!

I don't want to look thick... but what is a cut-off switch? Is it that small round button that presses in on the front left of the transmitter?

Well done, I think I'd have just circled until the battery went flat if that happened with my cub.

Thanks guys.
Yes that is the cut off switch, but it cuts off everything so be carefull if your tempted to press it while flying. lol

Haha just as well you said, I thought it was probably a 'fire' button for the combat modules! :D

Well saved, I too suffered this kind of failure of the throttle, I wasnt so lucky though.
