Some of you guys have said "wow.... a lanc" but what would you be prepaired to spend?
I have done some planing and have been looking at a similar scale to the Spit, and the cost (even done cheaply) without radio, servos or motors in eccess of £100:eek:....mind you the wing span and size are wicked!

let me know what you would pay......

Is this something you guys want? are you and your squadron considering a "Memorial flight"?

Lanc would be coooooooooooooooool! :D
I suppose how much I'd be willing to pay would depend on how it looked, what the build quality was like, would it be the same scale as the Spit?

I have designed her to have seperate wings (one and three quater times the spits lenght and each wing is the same as the total span) so it will take up the same space apart from the lenght!!!!:D

The construction would be balsa and possible basla/foam mix wings...from what I've seen the "good" looking girls are expensive and some of the smaller (less than the stand off scale of the PZ spit look....well have a look on the net:rolleyes:

I would hope to build a "not to bad looking" one (take a look at my spray work if thats anything to go on?

There is a 62" Lancaster over on Green Air Desings http://greenairdesigns.com/ Ive seen a couple of these fly, one was great, one destroyed on launch. They are foam kits and a lot of finishing is needed but they can look nice.

Well the size is around the 60" at the same stand off scale, and after seeing the "green air design" thought there could be some improvements made.....IE build time/semi built and covered.

As for B17......bulli:mad: "we are English don't you know....sort out your cravat, pipe and worm beer!":D

There are some small super foresses that retail at about £60 complete, but I think they should have something the same scale as parkzone, but cheep!
