Got it up

Took it up today for the first time and although very windy I managed to keep it up. 3 x landings and no damage yet. Very different from the flight SIM and need to get it much higher next time.

Good man:)....remember your not a real pilot until you nose one in from 40' at full trottal totaling the kite in a hole in the ground! LOL!!!!!:D

Keep going around the field, in and out of wind and I'm sure you'll be a squadron leader soon!

Make sure you ware your cravat though.....can't let the side down if you do bail out!

When I first flew my Stryker it was like OH My God! this things a bit nippy, you split-s from 300 feet and withing 2 seconds your at 50 feet and 2x speed lol.

It's an experience.

I've waited few years to do what I did today (many failed take-offs and wasted money over the years) now that we moved have this great big sports field, RC sim , great trainer and nothing but time ... :):)

Good man.....next formation flying and inversions.....oh er:eek:.

I'm sure you will have countless more days in the sky! but watch out for hun's in the sun!!! never know when you might see the old 109 or 190!:D
