Well managed to fly the cub a few times and was doing really well but today it went into a tree (very tall and no-way to climb it) and will never come down. Even if it does, someone will take it...
Well before I go and order another:rolleyes: do you recommend I go for the same or go for the spit???
Thanks for any help

I'd master the cub first. The Spit's very twitchy and a massive leap up.

Yeah... even after you have mastered the cub, the spit is still a massive step. Take no notice of the people who have been flying for ages and say it's easy; when you first start with the spit it's an absolute beast! :D

well theres two schools of thought!
1. get on and get used to the cub.....
2. step up to the spit
It depends on YOU and your MONEY:confused:
Getting used to flying one type of kite gets you used to "keep it air bourn with limited input in the controls" ie getting used to "letting her fly" and you nudging her about where you want her.
The spit demands you fly her and aileron turns are completely differant from rudder turns....as you can gain or in most occasions loose hight!
Just remember.....a landing is a controlled crash:D
which ever way you go....You have to make the final call.....but enjoy it! happy landings.

:o Hi, happy to inform you that the plane came down last night and some kids brought to back to me:)
apart from some dents i suspect that the plane landed on the prop as it is rubbing a little on the white plastic motor guard. Can someone tell me how to remove the prop so i can check:confused:
thanks

The black cone shaped spinner just pulls off and the prop is held in with a 7mm nut.

Good man! now off to the mess.....and if you need an excuse to get back up "I need an instument test" will get you past the squadron leader!:D
Glad your enjoying it......when you feel really sure of flying, SPITFIRE:D
You'll know when.......

The cub is nice, easy and sedate. If you get yourself crossed up you can let go of the controls and it should right it's self.
The Cub gets a little more exciting with Spifire batteries, but you can't beat aileron turns :D
