Hi everyone,
When i first flew my spit , it crashed , then crashed again and again!
I thought i should buy a beginner plane as I am not good enough for the spit. I bought the super cub and I can do low fly bys, loops, stall turns and figures of eight with it.
I feel I've mastered the cub and looking towards going back to my spit. But I'm stil worried I might crash it. How do you know when you are ready to go to a more advanced plane ??

Thanks

Hi,
I'm in exactly the same position as you are right now. I'm pretty proficient with the Cub, and haven't crashed for ages. I have a Spitfire which I crashed on first launch. I simply lost track of what direction it was travelling in due to it's difficult profile. May I suggest you do the same as I have...Buy a flight sim. I bought one called the "RC Plane Master. Only £20 for the thing! It includes a Tx which attaches to your PC via USB port. The sim has a Spitfire as well as 11 others, and this is helping me to deal with the difficult shape of the Spit. Hope this helps, and good luck!:)

Same here. Bored with the CUB now and waiting for the day when I can take my Spit out. Pratice and more pratice on the SIM until the day comes...:)

What you guys have to do is to make sure you fly high, at least three mistakes high. If you able to fly the cub OK then your ready for the spitfire, just be aware of what the Ailerons do instead of a rudder.
