First flight with spit, extremely fun.
Took my Hobbyzone Abx out first which was pretty uneventful apart from the wind catching it a few times. I was amzed how easy the spit was to fly incomparison. Alot faster but not affect by the wind as much. had 2 successful flight with reasonable landings, even did a few loops and put it in to high rate. 3rd flight notice power drop off so brought her in however miss judged my landing spped and overshot resulting in a colision with a fence. cracked the skeleton which has now been replaced. This plane is amazing and lots of fun to fly.

If anyone else flys in the sheffield area let me know.

Welcome to the "wing" I'm sure you'll find some bandits out there! Hun in the sun don't you know.....

anyway welcome to the wing, as I said, just remember undercarage down on final approach and whatch out for the trees (they tend to jump out at you!....assisted landing as I would call it) LOL!

Yeah watch out for bandits! Last night 5 seagulls decided to take me on in the skies above york racecourse! :D

I saw the birds in the air and thought they were simply flying about as they do, then I noticed they were actually chasing my spitfire, it made for one of the best 10 minutes ever!

Tallyho.

I make it a habbit to chase seaguls around when I see them, you often see them dive for the deck to escape the madness.

Haha nah these ones were quite persistant, I went head to head with one a number of times and it didn't even flinch! :D

Also when theres a few of them it's difficult to get behind them!

Seagulls? The "bandits" are bigger over here in Oxford, I recently had a run-in with two Red-tailed Kites! 5 foot wingspan! One of them nearly bit my tail off! I wish I had it on film. I'm looking forward to a Parkzone Lancaster, then I'd have a tail-gunner!

Vulcan, I'm down the road in High Wycombe and we get those Kites circling overhead, it's hard to believe how large they are until you get one chasing your plane.

Yeah, you're so right. They're massive! I'm going to take my video camera with me the next time I fly (If the wind report holds true for friday). I might get some Cub/Kite dogfight action!:)
