Hi all,
I think I've found a fairly affective "quick release" method for the wing struts where they attach to the fuselage...cable clips!
As you will see from the pics, I've used the smallest clips I can find. Just take out the panel pin they supply with the clip, and insert the screw supplied with your Cub. There is a bit of movement, but I find it very effective, they hold the wing in flight, and the strut can be easily removed by hand or a flat-head screwdriver.
Let me know if it works for you. :)
Oh, you might recognise the pilot of my Cub, he's a bit of a coarse character but a fairly good pilot after a few crashes! :p
