I've put the control rods on the inner most bits so the plane now responds really quickly. Just went out and oh my god it was like a different plane...After handling that in a brisk wind i think i'm definitely ready to shift to a better plane!

Yeah if you feel ready for it, go for the spitfire... that will get your attention! Haha:D

Haha nah, i've seen the spitfire in action and it's too twitchy for my tastes!

I suppose twitchyness depends on how it's flown and the wind more than anything... the hardest thing with the spitfire is keeping track of which way it's going because of its shape, you have to roll one way or the other to see which direction the plane is heading so you can correct it. It is really very smooth to fly and less bothered about wind than the cub. :)

If your happy with the Supercub then the next logical choice will be the Spitfire, P51 or FW190, I would go with the Spitfire because its the easiest of the three to fly.

I may well be ok with one of those, as i long ago ditched the cubs crappy radio gear and have some butchered out of a (non Parkzone) spit, so it's already not really handling like a cub :0)
