.... what speed controller are people using? I'm still using the standard PZ motor.

You can use anything really as long as its at least 10-15A capacity. I used a Jeti advanced JES20, it's a 20A ESC thats also Lipo compatible. It worked really well for me.

mine run a mix of either GWS 30amp or the ripmax XTRA brand 30 amp,.,BUT MAKE SURE ITS FOR """:eek:BRUSHED MOTORS :eek:""";)

I forgott to mention.,that if in the near future you want to go brushless you might as well do it now before havin to shell out on two types of speed controlers

I wasn't planning on fitting brushless motors, not with my new fleet of aircraft having them anyway, I want to keep my PZ SPit & P-51 as they are old friends but am sick of the interference.

How much did you chaps pay for them? Do they have a low voltage cut off like the original PZ ones?
I've found some 20A ones at my local place for £30.

i paid between £24.99 -- £35 for my ESC!...
