Finaly made a cock-up with my Spity. Forgot to reset the receiver back to Ni-Mh from Li-Po and it was still on 70% cut off. Resulted in me bobbing up and down as the plane tried to power back up but then plummeted nose first from 10ft. Damage from what I can see is a completely ruined firewall, motor mount and cowl.

All took place with my Flycam1 on, so keep watching for the video :D

Damn sahme old boy, I've just started flying gliders and this is teaching me how to fly without power, it's harder than you think lol. Anyway damage isnt too bad, even the cowl is repairable, mine in a far worse state that that one, its taped up inside and out lol.

Gearbox for sure, inner skeleton for sure, nose cone for sure.

The rest should be repairable.

I think it should be ok buddy, it would be great to mourn the loss of a good kite.

I almost lost my glider last night, being new and inexperienced at gliding, I clipped the wing of another pilot, she tip stalled and nosed in! I was sure she was a gonner but she nosed into a load of bushes! She took half an hour to finde but after we found her she ws back in the air with no damage to be seen.

The model is a Chris Foss Middle Phase and the owner (I am borrowing it) said it's 20 years old

20 years hah!!,.,.,.,. most of my pz fleet are a bit like triggers broom!!!!!.....:D: "four new heads two new handles!..,heres the corsair before sudden death!.,.i like to fly these little foamys over soft places to land,.as i found even a short grass feild hit to hard will damage the plane!,,.well my kids do anyway!:D...it went in the little tracks left from where the farmers tractor drives,..,.,one foot the other way it would of been saved!....no pics of it on the ground,.but i did save the motor,.three bladed prop,.esc,.canope,,then came home & hit the buy it now on another!,.,.thank god for overdrafts!......................................; )id like to see the parkzone version of the corsair.,.,you might ask why ART-TECH,,well i bought my first one before pz listed a corsair, also ive got a hellcat which is the same scale,.,.i think the parkzone one is bigger,.but i think if the credit card will let me il order one as i love the parkzone brand for spares,.,.will the boys here be listing any parts for them?.,,.id need a zero then to chase!!.

After replacing quite abit of the plane, I had the old girl back up in the sky where she belongs tonight.

Couple of trim issues with it being stripped down and what not but I got it sorted and she's now flying like a dream.

Thanks goes to SL yet again, top work boys!
