I am new to r/c airplanes I purchased a hobbyzone super cub my first two flights reached 20ft turned left and nosed dived the damage was the battery door broke away from the fuselage the fuselage around the battery door is damaged can this be repaired or do i need a new fuselage if i do how do you put the reciever and servos into the new fuselage What was I doing wrong in the first place

Hi Gorgy.

When turning give the cub a bit of elevator, so as you turn, pull the right control back a bit. That should help you out of problems.

There's a "super cup" model in it that's pretty much identical to the cub. Order that and give that a go first. I did and it proved to be ideal.

Once you've repaired your cub, make sure that the rudder isn't suddenly turning left on it's own. Check this at home by leaving the Tx and Rx on for a while. I had this problem with my Cub, and had to order a new receiver as the radio gear in these planes is sometimes pretty poor quality. Happy flying!
