Hi Folks
I seem to be amassing a certain number of Parkzone/Hobbyzone spares from various ebay deals and spare planes that I have picked up. I would like to try and match receivers to transmitters and with other RC equipment it would be just a matter of swapping rx/tx crystals however with the PZ stuff the crystals are soldered in. It seems that there is fairly easy access to the crystals on the rxs so if I wanted to change channel is it just a matter of desoldering the old crystal and resoldering the new?
Don't really want to fork out £25 pounds for a new rx when a few minutes soldering might suffice.
