Hi great site,, this will be my first post , probs 1st of loads ..
can anyone tell me if the electrics in a suoer cub will work in a f27b stryker
I have just ordered a stryker full fuse and have full electrics for a super cub
will it just be a case of adding to the stryker and buying a motor ???
thanks ...

As far as i know. the cub has slightly different electronics to the stryker (5 wire instead of 3). Although you may be able to transfer the whole lot to the stryker.
The bare air frame comes with a propeller so you could transfer the motor too!

Hi all,
After a quick discussion with our fellow pilots at HQ we believe the following (Please correct us if we are wrong).
There is one major issue regarding transfering the electrics from the other planes to the F-27B and this concerns the Receiver.
Because the F-27B uses Elevons (Elevons are the control surfaces that combine both pitch-and-roll control which would otherwise be controlled by Elevators & Ailerons), the RX has specific programming to apply these combinations and output them accordingly.
Therefore, if you were to use a RX from the other Planes the outputs would not be combined and coordinated.
Compatibility of the other 5W servos with the F-27B RX are an unknown.
Anyone else's comments on this matter are welcome.
Regards
