Can anyone help? I've been reading various articles where the flyers have changed the size of the wheels on their Cub. Does anyone know where I can get the wheels and also if I wanted to paint my Cub what paint and where can I get it from.

For the paint, you can use any water based paint. Check out your local arts and craft shop. Just make sure you test on a small area before painting the whole bird.

As for wheels and floats. This is a site for ready to fly planes, you may have more luck looking at the hobby shop websites which sell aircraft kits.

If you look at the main RC forums, you will find references to wheels and floats that others have used. Just google them while specifying pages from the UK.

www.wattflyer.com
There is another forum purely for modding your cub based in the uk but i cannot remember the address, you will find it in one of the forums above.

P.S. I think I recall some people saying that the "GWS" floats fit to a cub ok.

Hi guys, a little bit about painting foam yes water based paints is ideal but you can also use Tamiya paints and either brush or airbrush. The paints are designed for plastics and therefore settle into the very fabric and do not damage it so it may look a little strange but its fine and as Tamiya do all colours under the proverbial sun you can really go to town. If you airbrush use Tamiya thinner and dilute the paint with about a third thinner. I know its not a PZ model but this is what you can achieve. Enjoy the wonders of what colour and scheme do I use.
