I'm new to Squadron Leader and have only been flying a few months, I started with a Aerobird Scout then Aerobird Swift and then onto the Spitfire. I've only flown it about 4 times due to bad weather conditions but I love flying it. I should be getting another one cheap with non working electrics. I want to replace the PZ hybrid RX and ESC for a Esky 35mhz RX I have spare and a seperate ESC.
Now what I need to know is was Brushed ESC to get? it's not a huge model and the stock 480 isnt that powerfull so Im thinking a 25A ESC would do but I confess this is just a guess.
Once im happy I know this works well, I want to eventually go brushless and 2.4Ghz using DX6 radio gear, although this project is in the future so I wont worry about that yet.
