Hi everyone my name is Geoff,I am 59 going 60 and have recently rediscovered the pleasures and the pitfalls of rc flying after a break of some 30 odd years. How technology has changed, these park flyers are pretty amazing, I am totally hooked. I started on the Super Cub as a gentle reintroduction and she has so far completed 30 flights without an incident apart that is from a prop blade shearing in flight.Quick emergency landing, prop change and skywards again. I have since added to my hangar the FW190 and T28 Trojan. The Trojan has had one flight (unscheduled) as I only took her down to the field for taxiing trials, too much throttle and the bugger lifted off. Did one quick circuit, landed and put it back in it,s box till I feel more confident with it.Not too sure about the FW190, looks hairy to me and after reading a few comments on it have decided to hold fire and get the Spitfire and fly that first the general opinion being that it is more docile, looking at the profile of both I would tend to agree.Anyway what a great site this is. I like the laid back geek free attitude Squadron Leader has got it spot on,well done.happy flying everyone,Tally Ho

The Spitfire flies nice at low power, i find it easier to fly than my other Aerobird models. It also flies fast great and leaves you wanting more and more power. Landing the spit is great, just glides in so smooth, flare the elevator just prior to landing for a smooth touch down.

I love it.

Hi,

I have only just discovered the adventures of RC flying and so far loving it. I started with the super cub and just moved up to the Spitfire. I thinks its a fantastic plane, flies really well and very stable. Its just a legend and having a RC model of it and seeing it come in for a low fly by is quite something. I fancy getting the P-51 next although not as good as the Spitfire (in real life as well) I just like the look of it.

Safe landings
