How did the other one die? If you have any pictures of the crash you should send them in to the Fallen section of Squadron Leader.

the 4th fighter group one went into hard ground full bore from about 500 ft!!! .,.dont know what happend but it was flying for around 7 mins then wanted to dive,.,.no matter how much back stick i fed in it just dived!,,i have got pics which il post shortley,.,i did intend to fly it at debden the home of the 4th fighter group,.,.i hadnt put my decals on yet which i still have so il more than likley buy another to put them on!..i normaly fly over a corn field which in the advent of a hard landing it will help save the plane,.but i was doing a big figure of eight over a short grass area when all went megga wrong!....id like to fly one of my blue nosed 51s from the old control tower at bodney,.if i do il post pics!,,,i doubt theres been many blue nosed p51s flying over those fields since the end of WW2!!!....thanks for your interest.:)

hi gavj8 yes it out the box apart from the colours...not the best pz to fly in standard form but once masterd its ok..
