Hi all I have a slight problem with my Mustang. I flew it in around 12mph winds yesterday and when it was flying downwind and got around 150 to 200metres away the engine and controls just cut off, therefore causing the plane to glide in for a crash landing.
I dont think it is a range problem as it was about 300m away from me on the other side. After this happened I found the plane in a small bush with no damage apart from a few minor surface scratches so very lucky. Thinking O escaped the death of the mustang and thinking it was a battery problem I took her up again with a fresh battery. But the same thing happened over the exact same area again. This time the Mustang snaped its rear tail stabilizer as she crash landed but shes still flyable with spare part replacements.
I'm a little confused about trying to diagnose the problem as it happened with 2 batteries which a fairly new and was charged correctly and peaked prior to flying. Like i mentioned before I don't think it is a range problem and the plane has flown 3 times before this and both times had perfect flights and this was in the same area aswell.
There apears to be no defected wires or loose connections or anything unusual with the ESC/rx, I'm at a loss can anybody help???
