Its in the region of about £450 - £500 to complete. Providing you have the batteries already.

Hello There,

Are you guys maybe using the E-Flite 30-Amp Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless ESC in your P-38?
I'd like to use two of these for my setup, but i cannot find the programming in the ESC manual to disable Voltage Cutoff.
Read other p-38 forums that it's better to completely diable LVC and use a timer instead, because if LVC kicks in on one side first, the plane may go into a spin and crash.
If you have been able to disable LVC on this E-Flite ESC, please let me know.

Thanks!

I wanna get one of these and will bo a brushed version i think. I just want to know how I will cope with the build as it will be my first ARTF plane. Although I am no expert with making up planes I have had a look at the instructions from the web and it looks ok. Just want to know from someone how complicated or hard it is?

Also how does this bird handle in the air?

Thanks

If your used to putting a bird back together after crashes then a build is no problem!

I know the feeling! I posted the thread at the following link over a year ago - 53 views and not one single reply:

http://forum.squadronleader.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1757

In the end I bought one of each of the bloody things just so I could measure them myself!

Never did use them either.
