Default rcaf down
well im sad to say i was shot down by a supper cub made mostly of epoxy and duct tape today..but alast she will live again to fight again,,,,,,i hope

Is that a piece of wing off the offending supercub in the pick up bed too??

the offending cub didn't come out of it that bad.. broke both the wing struts and cracked the wing.those cubs are tough birds,the wings have to be twice the thickness of the spit. but i did fly circles around him.

revenge its going to be since hes going to but a kill flag on his cub.

RCAF spit isn't as bad as she looks. gear box toast and spinner and cowling.
everything else is fixable. will be ready for the skies next week.

My cub has been hot glued back together so many times!

But it doesnt matter how many new models I get, I love it! So easy to fly and soooooo easy to fix!

Glad to hear she'll be airworthy again soon.
I dread the day my daughter can handle her Cub alone and we share the same airspace. I've no doubt the CUb will always come through a collision better

Judging by Lion Cub's posted footage, I'd say that will be in around, oh, three weeks at least

update..she lives again and i managed to snuff up enough parts to make two more spits.damm i love flying it,in fact i like it more than my corsair.
but i,m going to go big now.picked up a hanger 9 spitfire and its getting a os91 four stroke. now the dog fight begins.
