Default Mustang On-Board Keychain Camera

My keychain camera arrived from Miss Maryannweiwei from Hong Kong this week and today I got out for some flying!

You've got the love these little cameras, I attached mine to the top of the canopy of my Mustang with a bit velcro which worked pretty well. Might try Gremlin's wing attachment method next:

Man that was some busy flying, nearly had a vertigo attack Did you actually clip the goal post on one of those fly throughs? It seems to produce a better picture than my MD80 clone cam, but I'm usually flying mid to late afternoon, so maybe brighter days will produce better images eh? I'm still waiting for another cam, a keychain type.

Nice flying mate, makes me wish I'd got the Mustang now

That was my second flight with the camera on board and I was throwing her around a little to see if the camera would come loose, thankfully it stayed put!

The Mustang is so easy to fly that the temptation is to go 100% balls-out every flight. That said she does look sweet if you make an effort to fly a bit more scale.

I missed the goal by about an inch on the second pass so I decided to stop *rsing about before it all ended in tears!!!

Maybe tie some cotton thread to it and the plane mate, that way you'll see it dangling rather than falling to earth. There's no extra weight.

Hi guys, hopefully someone can help, I have my key chain camera, and the problem I am having is that I cannot change the time/date stamp so it’s correct?

Please in simplistic idiot format, can anyone help?

I had to look this up on tinternet because the instructions with the cam don't tell you.

Open a new notepad file and enter the following in it (adjusting for the correct date and time of course):

[date]
2010/02/23
21:30:00

Save the file as TAG.txt (apparently it must be in CAPS) and place that file in the root directory/folder of the key cam. Now disconnect the cam and turn it off and on again. It should now have the right time stamp.

Hope this works for you!
